Cambridge-based jazz quartet Q3 is here with their third album called “Water Speckled Midnight”, and it’s an absolute vibe! This is a follow-up to their 2019 album “The Monkey Puzzle Tree” which features ten quirky, melodic, and super listenable tracks, and we are pretty sure you’ll enjoy them as much as we did!  The band is killing it with their skills here: Kevin Flanagan on tenor sax brings the heat with some sweet solos, Tiago Coimbra pumps his fire bass grooves, blending North African, flamenco, and funk vibes. Then we have Martin Hallmark and his smooth piano solos sprinkled with Chick Corea-inspired lines. And let’s not forget Oscar Reynolds on drums, holding it all down with finesse, letting the music flow effortlessly. That’s a jazzy journey you don’t want to miss!

Welcome to the Jungle guys. No we are not talking about Guns n Roses. it’s not that we don’t like the guys, but we really need to dive into the real Jungle. There’s a fresh artist that is gonna help us with this and goes under the name of Ingo Nasse. This music project just released an amazing drum n bass and jungle-inspired track called Jarred Jungle. We loved every synth used in this track, and the sound design is incredible. The saturation is used in an extremely clever way, with the sub-bombs and bassline. The track has some more calm parts that help the ear rest for a bit and be ready for the next break beat session. Such an amazing track to play at raves, don’t miss this one out. 

In a way, Hyperspace doesn’t only travel into space, but we also go back in time. With a little help from a fresh artist called B-Mack who just released a new track with Mslarayne called “Duckgrease Burning at The Crabhouse”. We are indeed traveling back in time thanks to them, as their sound reminisces some drum beats from the old school rap, one of our favorites, but also goes into very catchy and charming soul moments thanks to some sublime female vocals in the chorus. The track has swag and a groovy rhythm, which makes the song extremely danceable. This track is perfect for everyone who misses the old hip hop, but still wants to listen to something very peculiar, as the sound design and vocal performances on this track really stand out, and we cannot recommend this song enough.

We are now flying to Genova, city situated in one of our favorite countries in the world. Not only they have some of the best food and weather in the world, but also some of the most interesting music out there. of course we are talking about Italy, where this electronic music project is based. Andrea Pizzo and the Purple Mice really surprised with the track The Machine. The drum parts and rhythm are incredibly well produced, and also the other layers of the sound design are very well chosen. Very mesmerizing and mysterious synths, organ-like sounding at times, will wrap your ears in an outstanding musical vibe, where some strong vocals stand on top. If you are searching for some outstanding dark and electro-pop track, that’s gonna be your next jam. 

We are now headed to Fayetteville, NC, to meet Vinnie-Dangerous, a rapper and producer known for his commitment to authenticity and originality in both his production and lyrical content. With a dedication to staying true to himself in every release, he offers a unique perspective on the issues that matter most. His latest album, “Dream ‘Til It’s Over”, holds a special significance as it serves as a tribute to his son and his own journey of self-reflection. For this next artist we are flying to our favorite city in the world. Of course we are talking about London and now we are going to showcase Richard Green’s single called A Lesson. The track has a very solid production with a compelling arrangement. We loved the bassline particularly here, but also the guitar is very well curated with a nice clean tone typical of a more funky track. We are bold enough to say that the guitar definitely had a Frusciante vibe that really intrigued us. The violin often played the role of melody, and even though the track doesn’t present any vocals, we didn’t find this a problem. Au contrair, this tune sounds perfect as the soundtrack of a beautiful and sunny day. 

Cristina Noujaim is bringing the heat with her second single, “I Should’ve Said No”. This track ain’t just your average jam, it’s a labor of love that Cristina has been cooking up for three whole years.
