That’s the last day of Summer. However, we luckily have this selection of incredible artists to cheer us up.
These indie rock and indie folk tunes are perfect for this time of the year. Autumn is starting, and everyone is back to work, anyway, this music still makes us dream, and also daydream.
Just imagining ourselves without responsibilities for a bit longer, all these songs definitely did a great job of not making us think about the hustle and bustle of being a Londoner. We are sure that will chill you up as well.
Let’s begin the happy hour.
FRAN LUSTY – “Flight Of Your Mind”
Our first artist from today is called Fran Lusty, and she’s a singer-songwriter from London, UK. She just released an incredibly catchy tune called “Flight Of your Mind”, an indie-folk you absolutely shouldn’t miss.
That’s her fourth single in 2022 and she definitely created a consistent sound during this here, accompanied by some conceptual artworks that make her music project even more consistent. This new single has a very solid sound foundation thanks to its chord progression and acoustic guitar sound.
The electric guitar gives that dreamy vibe adding some shoegaze-inspired sounds that give a lot of depth to the song. All of these are topped by Fran’s melancholic performance and melody. For the theme of this song, Fran was inspired by Virginia Woolf’s diaries and how she used to fly away from the real world into her mind.
The song reflects on the husband’s perspective of this peculiar situation, and the disconnection she might feel from the real world. We found ourselves a bit reflected in this story, we lack Virginia’s talent but we are definitely some avid daydreamers.
T.I.G.Y. is an oustanding duo based in Dorking, UK, with an indie pop catalogue of over 10 tracks and one EP, these guys bring to the public a unique style merging beautiful vocal melodies with minimal musical arrangements.
Their latest release “Animal” is a cover of the band Miike Snow, completely reworked and remastered to a whole new level, and we can say they absolutely nailed it.
The style of the cover has soft touch for the first part of the song, featuring a dreamy piano and some impressive brasses (apparently provided by the incredibly skilled Jamie Sefton), while having a more energic and brave character during the second part.
The combination of the instruments used give the tune an acoustic sound, blending perfectly with the angelic vocals and giving the listener the opportunity to focus on the paceful and gentle melodies the will slowly inebriate our mind.
This was definitely an incredible take from this duo, they also have some upcoming live events across the UK, make sure you check out their dates on Spotify!
This duo needs no introduction, after being with us in some previous articles, we are glad to have them here once again with their latest release “Have To Make This Call”.
What can we say, this tune literally captured our heart with its incredible nostalgic vibe and the refined sound design of electronic elements mixed to acoustic and electric guitars.
The song is a crescendo of emotions, built with an incredible dynamic full of stunning transients and powerful energy. This is definitely a strong characteristic of this band, able to add magic to whatever they play.
The song starts with a chilled verse, played by an acoustic guitar and the vocals. It slowly brings in other elements and fxs in a perfect manner, releasing most of its energy during the choruses and bringing your mind on a rollercoaster of feelings.
We can admit that we can’t get enough of it, that’s why we’re going to press play once again.
Extremely excited to introduce this incredible talent based in New York, US, ready to unleash wonderful feelings with his sound: we want to give a warm welcome to YONAH.
Just 19 years old, this young lad is a singer/songwriter and producer that seems to know what he’s doing, with a total of 5 productions released this year.
His latest tune called “Bad Dreams” is an Indie Pop production with a sophisticated sound design, featuring mellow guitars and incredibly captivating vocals that give the tune a mysterious feeling and a sense of “I want to discover more of it”.
The song has a misty mood, and we loved it: it will literally let you dream during the listening, and as the title says, it was a very bad dream.. However, if bad dreams were all like this, then I think we’d like to have them all the time.
Curious about what this artist will come up next, links below to keep posted:
Talking about young talents, we are thrilled to present LAURA LANG, a marvelous singer and songwriter from Tennessee, US.
Her angelic voice is incredibly remarkable, just 17 years old we wonder how she can be this good, lyrically and melodically speaking, Laura proves her skills with her latest release “Black Sedan”.
The song starts with an astonishing guitar arpeggio: it hooked us from the first moment with its beautiful melody, accompanied by a very characteristic bunch of effects, and followed by the soft vocal lines of Laura during the verse.
The tune features an amazing groove composed of rich and bold acoustic drums in a full indie rock style, releasing all of its energy in the second half of the song along with electric rock guitar power chords and powerful vocal melodies.
This artist is incredibly good at bringing nostalgic vibes and will definitely make you craving for more, we can assure you.
The next artist we present to you comes directly from Edmonton, Canada. She’s a singer-songwriter called Kaeley Jade and her last single is called “Beneath The Lies”. That’s an acoustic pop tune with an extremely catchy melody and arrangement, especially the main lead present in the chorus, it’s easy to get stuck in your mind.
That’s the fourth single out of her upcoming album Turpentine which will be out just in a couple of days, and we are very excited about this. Beneath the Lies bring to life the poppiest side of Kaeley Jade, but always deals with themes that are nothing but superficial.
After encountering one of her ex-partners, Kaeley faces some of the human most notorious constructions, the so-called human masks, the false identity that keeps some of us alive by not facing certain issues of their lives, pretending everything’s okay.
This song and its incredible catchiness reminded us of early works from Taylor Swift and Maggie Rogers, and we wish the best for Kaeley Jade’s upcoming album, make sure not to miss it out.
“Queen Of My Own Domain”is the latest single from Singer-Songwriter Zoe Guigneno, a cozy indie tune, perfect for the end of summer.
Zoe Guigneno, is currently based in Canada, Vancouver Island, but she used to live in New York for a long time and had a lot of music experiences playing the bass in different bands. Through her lyricism and songwriting is possible to capture her musical talent and ability to convey her emotions through melody.
The song’s arrangement plays a lot around the bassline, very groovy and present which makes it a peculiarity if compared to other indie rock/indie pop tunes. The organ and guitar licks add some dreamy layers to the production but always leave enough space for Zoe to express herself fully.
Through the lyrics we can see that Zoe explores her independence, now feeling more control over her life, expressed in an uplifting and very positive way. A simple, warm yet inspiring tune, you should absolutely add to your playlist.
Directly from San Francisco, here we have Lauryn Marie with her new song Happy Songs. That’s the first tune she released in 2022, bringing some alt-pop vibes to the end of this summer, with a melancholic theme and a very catchy melody.
Lauryn was able to create a song that sounds very pop while still keeping her singer-songwriter style. The electric guitars here also add some vibes that reminded us of Olivia Rodigo and Avril Lavigne, which we really dig.
The main theme of this song turns around the feeling we might have after a relationship is finished. Everything changed, and also our respective things during the relationship had a different and deeper meaning.
Lauryn in this song is indeed reflecting on the role of all the songs she used to listen to, and they all sound different in the aftermath of her breakup. A situation that many of us can relate to, and that Lauryn was able to transpose into music in a flawless way.
Here we have the final artist of today’s list. Last but not least we present you Herald K, a singer-songwriter from Vienna, Austria. Even though we didn’t plan for this to be the last review of the day, this song sounds like the perfect closure for today’s selection, thanks to his extremely chill vibes and hypnotic pedal steel guitar.
The tune we are going to close today is called Wandering Aengus and this is Herald K’s interpretation and transposition of William Butler Yeats’s poem.
This extremely calming tune is a hidden gem of modern folk. It is pure pleasure to dive into this song, especially at the end of a very busy day, and be caressed by the vocal melody, a soothing line that accompanies you into a dreamy state. The very well-curated sound design gives the right space to every instrument making the double bass, vocals and acoustic guitar shine. The perfect tune to end the day.
Finally, spring has arrived, and so to space. Yep, spring exists in space as well dear Space Traveller. I can tell you this because in our monthly expedition we found a recurring mood of blooming songs from different planets, nebulas, and galaxies, that all together resembled some similar vibes. We called it “The Spring Mood”: all artists are now subconsciously getting ready for summer and we can notice this from the releases of this month.
We definitely went past the pessimism of the winter, and artists’ optimism is in the air (or in the void of the space in this case). Our selection of artists will warm you up for the summer vacations, giving you the perfect entertainment for the next couple of months to come, that’s for sure.
We definitely needed some warm Indie and Dance-Pop tunes that could wake us up from this lethargy, and we’re sure that all these incredible artists will warm up your busy day and mood as well.
Let the journey to the moon begin.

Presenting the project of Matthias Schorer, an amazing artist and producer from Munich, Germany, called “De Antiquis Et Novis”.
His latest release is “Calm”, featuring the incredible guitars of Edi Schrorer: this is a 6 minutes piece of art that will let you forget about time, and let you relax after a long busy day.
The tune has a refined sound design, with vintage synths and surrounding ethereal pads. Its groove is given by the incredibly clean and punchy drums, accompanied by an acid bass that gives the track a mysterious vibe. The guitars do their job amazingly well, playing some rhythmic plucked parts, and some lead solos, this song will guide you during your full relaxation time.
SKYLAR LEE is an amazing artist, singer, and songwriter based in Nashville, US.
We felt to include her latest release “Hotel In A Hurry” in this best picks of the month for its emotional vibes and the incredible vocal performance of Skylar. As simple as that, the song will bring you on a dream journey, and to a discovery of your deepest thoughts with beautiful and melancholic melodies.

Things start getting spicy with the latest release from TIMMY THE BOY.
For those who don’t know him yet, Timmy The Boy is a trio led by the main vocalist and guitarist Timmy The Boy. Their latest track “Show Me” was released just a week ago, and that’s exactly the kind of tune we need right now to get ready for this summer.

The vocal lines have a sick style and the performance here is of incredibly high quality, Timmy knows for sure how to make stylish stuff! Don’t miss out!
We’re all ready to party hard once again with another banger from GRIFFTER!
We are so glad to include his latest release “All Out” in this Best of the Month article after his first appearance on our Instagram page one year ago!
All Out is a dance/tech-house tune that features some sick synth-growl sounds and some trembling vocals from the amazing JONAS 2.0 that gives the song a unique touch!
Punchy and groovy drum patterns are synonyms of Griffter, he knows how to get you to the dancefloor and make you move like crazy!

Once again DZILL is joining us in this chapter 4! After releasing the banger “Want Me Like That” back in 2021, he finally came back with another amazing tune called “Free Yourself”, featuring the wonderful singer CAROLINE TRUGMAN.
The song starts with some emotional piano chords, accompanying the beautiful voice of Caroline, with a slow verse, and a more rhythmic build-up brought in by a punchy kick drum and some wide pads.
The song then opens up with a strong melodic drop that features an incredible lead bass in a deep-house style, definitely the kind of grooves we love on our crazy nights out!
A warm welcome back also to PARIZ with his latest release “Demons” featuring MILANO THE DON. After joining us in one of our previous Best Of The Moon, we can say this crazy lad never disappoints us!
You better get ready for this banger, this is an EDM/dubstep production made in collaboration with the Canadian-based producer GO HARD. The tune starts with a determined intro, a solid drum beat accompanying the rap vocals of Don during the verse, and releasing all its power during the drop in a truculent dubstep style with sharp synths and mad laser sounds.
The song ends with its final drop that goes into a pure hardcore mode, definitely the right song to be played at a festival, this would make the crowd go wild!
OBEEYAY is a singer and songwriter based in Utah, US, and he just released his latest single “Hard” which is part of his 5 tracks EP. Super fresh artist, with a total of 6 songs released between 2021-2022, we can say this incredible lad has definitely a gift.
Clever and solid lyrics combined with his amazing creativity and the brilliant use of his vocal melodies make sure that his songs become hits!
Hard is an electronic alternative pop production, definitely the kind of song that will put you in a good mood no matter what, with its upbeat rhythm and the impressive sound design of the synths: a must-listen for that daily boost of happiness.
Another amazing singer and songwriter from Los Angeles, US, is ready to join us this month with his outstanding vocals: we’re talking about GABRIEL MUNOZ.
His latest release “Don’t want me” is a moody dance/pop tune that got stuck in our heads with its catchy melodies.
The track starts with a melancholic intro and verse, where Gabriel’s vocals lead the song with a soft timbre and emotional lyrics. The song gets real groovy during the chorus, where upbeat drums join the party with a slap-up bass giving the track an amazing dynamic, also thanks to the impressive work done on the vocals, choirs, and harmonization. Everything is mixed to a high-quality standard, and we can tell you that the more you’ll listen to this track, the more you’ll get addicted to it!
Clever and solid lyrics combined with his amazing creativity and the brilliant use of his vocal melodies make sure that his songs become hits!
“Don’t want me” is an electronic alternative pop production, definitely the kind of song that will put you in a good mood no matter what, with its upbeat rhythm and the impressive sound design of the synths: a must-listen for that daily boost of happiness.
“Ego” is another stunning tune, the latest release of KAELEY JADE, singer and songwriter from Edmonton, Canada.
Kaeley’s voice can go from soft and calm to very strong and powerful: a magnificent talent that can’t really go unnoticed. Her vocal performances have the ability to hit right in the middle of your heart, combined with compelling and gifted lyrics, this artist is definitely the one you’d listen to while you having a “not so great” day.
Ego is a song about unhealthy relationships, that most of the time affect our happiness and comfort: a slow tempo, dynamic alternative pop production that features wide cinematic drums, ambient sound elements, and few acoustic instruments. The tune has been mixed and mastered to an impressively high standard, a pleasure to our ears!
SERENA SOPHIA is an incredibly skilled artist, multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter from Glasgow, UK.
Her latest release “Giving Me” is her first release of this 2022: a future pop production with R&B and soulful notes, with amazing vocal lines that will give you goosebumps.
The tune starts with a great nostalgic intro made of some reversed piano chords, along filtered vocal lines that a mellow effect. The verse opens up with a clean drum beat and reversed chord sounds; Serena here is able to give the song that melancholic/sorrowful mood with her astonishing timbre and her ability to reach unbelievable high notes.
The choruses are the climax of the song with the future bass-style synths and the powerful vocals: for sure you’ll get blown away by the energy of these!
Benji Matthew recently released his first tune of 2022 called The Love Song Anthem, and this comes after his album Timeless, which was released in 2021.
Benji is expanding his production and sound range, always keeping his pop attitude, and we are definitely digging his evolution in the Synth Pop genre.
You might have recognized Benji from one of his viral videos from X-Factor UK 2017, in case you didn’t go check him out here. Benji has an incredible dragging energy, which is extremely evident in his last single The Love Song Anthem, a tune that will sound amazingly on your car radio while heading to the beach. We cannot wait to see what other stuff has Benj ready for the rest of 2022 until then we still have this incredible tune on repeat.
DoosC is a producer and composer from Luxemburg who just released his new electronic tune called Praha. For you who don’t know, Praha is the capital of the Czech Republic, a small city yet incredibly beautiful thanks to its colorful streets and architecture.
DoosC is able throughout the tune to tell a story through just the sound and different instruments. Praha is a journey that starts with a beggar playing his guitar in Praha and we follow his pat and evolution through the evolution of arrangement and sound of the tune.
Even though the tune starts with an acoustic guitar presenting it, Praha always remains a consistent electronic tune with a compelling bassline and kick that accompanies us on this journey. An incredible story that perfectly represents this beautiful journey and story.
Kenny Ward and Billie Ward are two brothers from US who started the alternative pop-duo project The Other Realm. They just released their last tune called All the Cute Boys Are Robots, a really catchy tune about the misadventures behind the choice of joining a dating app.
The tune is completely self-produced, but it keeps up with all the other huge pop productions out there. It is easy for us to imagine this song on the radio indeed. The electric guitar reggae-ish rhythm set the right mood for the tune, and the rest of the instrumentation, which gave us a nice 90s vibes feeling, adds to the tune a modern style that set the tune apart from other similar productions.
The lyrics tell us a funny story where everyone can feel like the main character, in these last years everyone’s been dragged in this new technological era where love is filtered by a smartphone, and we indeed feel the same frustration conveyrd by this tune. Anyway, this still remains a upbeat happy tune, which is great to recalibrate our mood and get us through the day.
In the beginning of April, Allie Alvarado released her EP Strong, and we were definitely thrilled by this 4-track release. Allie Alvarado is not new in the music industry, she played with Beth Ditto before the coronavirus spread and collaborated also with Alvin Risk for one of his tunes out with OWSLA (Skrillex record label).
The leading track of the EP is the one that gave the name to the release. Strong in an incredibly uplifting song, “The Heart goes strong the more you use it”. Inspirational lyrics that Allie sings throughout the chorus follow a catchy and alternative vocal chop sequence.
Syllables of Love and Feel The Earthquake are the core of the EP, where Allie shows her skills as an electronic producer, with an interesting sound design and arrangement building. Moments of You, definitely sound like the perfect tune to conclude this EP. It sounds like a “goodbye” but also like a “See You Soon”, and we hope more for the latter, the synths have sometimes a more vintage approach, with a melody that could reminisce some of the most melancholic Depeche Mode releases. Strong is an EP full of sound layers, a release you should listen to multiple times to capture its magnitude, like the one of an Earthquake.
Thank Tigs for exporting the UK underground music sound all over the world. Having passed half of my life in London working in UK Live music clubs or partying in them (of course before the coronavirus spread), it was pretty noticeable to me, and to everyone who’s done the same life, that the UK electronic scene it’s something on its own.
Tigs just released his tune Bad Like We, together with Peppery and Murder He Wrote, and now based in Melbourne in Australia, I’m extremely happy his sharing the UK underground sound abroad. The tune perfectly represents the rave scene, merging genre from Grime and Garage.
The vocals add a Jungle feeling to the tune that would sound amazing on a sound system in the streets of Brixton. Keep spreading the good music, and rave like crazy to this music.
Juracán is the musical project started by singer-songwriter Pierre Carbuccia, originally from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. We have been introduced to him thanks to his last single called Dame Todo, which perfectly merges two different but still specular musical worlds.
The idea behind this song is extremely intriguing, we first start listening to and RnB-inspired tune where we can appreciate Juracán vocal style and musical talent.
Here he’s singing in English and we can capture his emotions and struggles. In the middle of the track, everything steadily transforms and the song, while keeping his subtle dark layer, becomes a more audacious reggaeton-ish tune, not the one you could hear on some commercial club night, but in a more rave-ish kind of context, in the middle of a tropical island frequented only by natives that really know how to enjoy music.
Indeed here Pierre is singing in Spanish, still keeping his seductive charm, but this time with a more direct approach. An incredible tune that’s the perfect sample of this fresh and alternative project.
If you like the 80s and pets, this is going to be your favorite tune ever. Ryal, is a synth-pop duo based in New York City, and after Ryal singer’s pup Lambda passed away the duo decided to put out Best Friend, an 80s-inspired production to commemorate his life.
Grief is something you can feel not only for humans but also for your beloved puppy, which represents a huge part of so many people’s lives. The melancholic tune brings some of 80s staple sounds from the Prophet 5, Roland RS-09 and Moog Modular Arpeggio.
The bass synth, gives a more Synthwave vibe to the verse, with a dark lurking feeling that never sounds too overwhelming but works perfectly as the base for the introduction of the multiple ear-candy presents in the song.
We fell in love with this live rendition of Fears Of Letting Go from singer Evin. That’s probably one of the sexiest (saxiest as well) tunes we had the pleasure to listen to in 2022.
The tune starts with an incredibly immersive saxophone riff, and we are already immersed in an 80s kind of scenario, where everything is more charming and neon-like. Erin incredible vocal ability and expression are the perfect companions for this instrument.
The guitar and bassline add a more jazzy sometimed funky feeling to the tune and create the perfect base layer for the melody to shine.
Fears Of Letting Go is one of the singles off of Evin’s forthcoming EP “Good Morning World”, and we cannot wait to listen to the whole release.
Believe us, Larri Jae has the potential to be the next big thing in the RnB scene, proving his talented artistry on his EP Chapter 30.
His singing, while very peculiar and unique, sometimes reminisces the style of big artists like Chris Brown and The Weeknd. Anyway, Larri Jae, proved to have a very chameleonic style that perfectly fits every beat. And in Chapter 30 we have different kinds of moods, from the more Trap-ish “Sad Inc” to the more melodic Rnb tune “Alphabet Head”.
“Tell Me How”, is the more fast-paced tune in the EP, while still retaining his catchiness and showcasing Larri’s virtuosity.
This EP contains tracks produced by Grammy-Award winning producer Xcel and acclaimed producers PDub The Producer, so you’re an RnB aficionado, you’ll be overly satisfied by this release and its neat production.
EDM is not dead believe us. That’s one of the reasons this blog exists, and it is to remember people that there are still talented DJs, like TATE SEDAR, still thriving and making great music. TATE SEDAR, music producer based in Los Angeles, just released his tune Find A Way.
The tune is inspired by his own life and relationship with music. It is a hard task to make music part of your life, but as you can see also in his music video for the song here, this was always Tate’s mission number one.
Find A Way, takes the best from the electronic world, delivering a peculiar production that drags mainly inspiration from the broad EDM genre, but adds some subtle sounds and ear candies more typical in the dubstep and hardstyle genre.
By doing this Tate was able to create a unique style, that makes you bang your head from start to finish while staying extremely danceable.
Julient, is a singer and producer based in London, United Kingdom, and he just put out a new Dance-pop tune called “Calling For My Name”. That’s just his third single and the first one he is releasing in 2022. The tune talks about learning from our past mistakes and choosing the right path for our life.
That’s a hard and honest topic to bring up, but one where everyone could feel represented. The lyrics, melody and vocal style gave a melancholic vibe to the tune which is reinforced by the bass and synths sounds.
The synths and drum reminisce some 80s production, but the more obscure and uplifting tracks rather than the cheesy and superficials one. Indeed, doing a consistent Dance-Pop tune keeps his danceability but still gives you some food for thought, is a hard task, but Julient was able to deliver this flawlessly.
Tainted Youth is a fairly new electronic project formed by Ryan Hall & Kathleen Down. These two young lads are based in London, UK, and they just released their second tune for 2022 called “Feel The Way”.
The duo takes inspiration from the EDM of the last decade while adding their unique style and more rock approach. The electric guitar definitely gives the tune a great boost, and it is used intelligently throughout the tune.
We can also hear some dubstep influences, especially in the chorus, which is the most uplifting and energetic part, and yet also one of the most melodic and catchy parts of the song. Tainted Youth is definitely bringing back the electronic music in the Uk, and we cannot wait to hear some more tunes from them.
“Give It Up, yeah you Give It Up…” ehm sorry, I was still listening to Jamythyst‘s new tune called “Wild Baby”, and man the chorus really caught us off guard for his extreme catchiness, and 90s dance-pop extravaganza.
The tune starts with a more emo-trap approach, talking about Jamythyst’s breakup and bad relationship with solid production and beat. We definitely didn’t see the chorus coming and slap us in the face like that, but it works, oh god if it works.
The second chorus perfectly merges the 90s dance world and trap influences in the best way possible, and Jamythyst, which produced everything by herself, adds some new ear candies and synth sounds that keep our ears extremely entertained until the last note she sings. Wild…Wild song, Wild Baby, that’s indeed the perfect title for the song.
