“Running” is the latest release from ALYRIA, in collaboration with Bixxy, up-and-coming artists from Iceland. This song is a truly relatable story of how thoughts and actions do not always align in a relationship and how the mind can interpret feelings and thoughts and make them more complicated than they really are. This tune is a perfect mixture of modern pop with a touch of Soul and RnB, incredibly catchy!

Her latest release featuring Jodie Poye hooked us quite much with its unique sound design and the incredible flow the tune brings up. Don’t miss this out!
“Don’t Talk To Strangers” is the third track by Rogue FX, an incredible artist from North-East England. This song is a classic 80s story of a rich girl who turns her back on her wealthy family life to be independent in the city working various jobs to live, Don’t Talk to Strangers being her mantra to be streetwise and look after herself. The track is influenced by classic synth and percussion sounds of mid-80s synth pop combined with some more American sounds of sax and guitar, with a contemporary Synthwave rhythm.
THE GRAND PRIX is an indie rock quartet based in Paris, France, and their sound is incredibly distinctive! Their latest release is “Get Some Air”: a tune that taps into contemporary pop influences to aim for a fresh “end of Summer” feel.
Starting straight off the bat with playful samples, rich arrangements, and a catchy hook, this song is a window into the lethargic yet very self-conscious mind of a teenage character.
Award-Winning Multi-Genre singer, songwriter, pianist, composer, producer, and film & television actress, this incredible artist is a talent like no other. Performing mainly as a solo artist, Gina shares compelling stories through her songs – captivating audiences from intimate venues to stadiums.

NOEL JOHNSON NDJ – “Buy The Ticket, Take The Ride”
NOEL JOHNSON NDJ just came up with the most stylish song of this week in our opinion.
This release is called “Buy the Ticket, Take the Ride”, and is the perfect soundtrack for tripping down the desert highway at night with the top down. The incredible vibes this tune is able to give are comparable to heaven, with a vintage sound design and mood like no other, this tune will bring you on a stunning journey!

This amazing singer and songwriter is a pure talent, and we can see this with his latest release “4Ever”: an incredible pop production with future style synths and R&B nuances, we are just amazed by this one. 4Ever is a passionate song, filled with energy and nostalgic feels. Representing a couple with mixed feelings for remembrance of coming back, not wanting to control, comes across with a sensation of searching for something more, is it time defined?

His latest release “A Beautiful Day” brings you on an incredible journey with its happy and dreamy vibes, featuring a clean and solid sound we’re pretty sure you’ll fall in love with this tune!
It’s impossible not to feel the energy of artist and producer Jameson Tabor who spins a fresh sound through dance-pop and its’ emerging sub-genre, bluestep. His soulful voice and playful personality showcase an updated, sensitive version of masculinity. His latest release “TOUCH” has the kind of groove we’ve looked for a long time, with catchy vocal lines and a beautiful retro sound design, this song will definitely hook you like crazy! Incredible masterpiece, this artist is a real talent.
That’s not the first time we write about this incredible artist. We are talking about iHATEJON, singer and producer from North Carolina.
His latest release is truly new to his sound and showcased his eclectic sound and taste. The song is called “Wake Up”, and dives amazingly into the bedroom pop genre, reminding us a bit of beebadoobe. Anyway, iHATEJON is still able to maintain his peculiar style, making his music always recognizable.
The next artist we are going to present to you comes directly from Denver, with an amazing style and catchy melody ready to get stuck in your mind.
Her name is Deetta Jain, and she just released her song “The Twist To The Glitch”, also accompanied by an amazing music video you can watch here. That’s a pop and EDM-infused tune, the video is very glitchy as promised by the title, and we loved it.
The next artist really brought something special into the game. He comes from Cleveland, Ohio, and goes under the name Marottes.
He recently released an EP called “Languish“, which sounds like something you never listened to before. He was able to merge hyper pop, synthpop and dark themes in a seamless way, reminding us of Depeche Mode in some of its parts. Memorable sound design and incredible chilling vibes.
Let’s fly directly to Richmond to visit Bryanna Rain, an incredible American singer which just put out a new album.
Her new release is called “Petrichor”, an unbelievably catchy album that merges many electronic genres, from EDM and electro-pop and also a bit of disco, funk and synthwave in the mix. An eclectic album that also put the spotlight on the ability of Bryanna to sing flawlessly on every genre of the track.
LILAC THIEF – “When Insomnia, Do As The Somniacs Do”
“When Insomnia, Do As The Somniacs Do” is Lilac Thief‘s genre-hopping reflection on his constant battle with sleeplessness, how it makes him feel, and how it warps the way he sees the world around him.
This masterpiece features beautiful vocals with an upbeat drum and bass rhythm, an emotional tune that will hit your chest with its powerful sound, and the vibrant dynamic of the vocal lines. We honestly loved this one, don’t miss out!
An Awkward Social is an indie-rock project founded by Franco Bolleurs from Cape Town, South Africa. His new song, “Once It’s Over”, inspired by the musicality of Bon Iver and Tom Rosenthal is about trying to keep a grip on reality and about what you perceive as reality.
Spectacular and super catchy, this song stands out as his most refinished release to date.
Husk is an eclectic artist from Manchester, UK. His music, a disco mix and 80’s Synthpop offers fun, catharsis and unapologetic vibes as well as a voice against discrimination in the LGBT + community.
His last single, CRUSH is a romantic ode, with leading bass guitar runs on a thunderous beat, that you definitely don’t want to miss.
With this song, we are going directly into another dimension. Be prepared to be introduced to the artist Penny.
She is an incredible singer and producer from Stockholm, Sweden and she released her first-ever single called Crucial. We found this single incredible, with a cinematic sound design, you will find yourself in a movie directed by David Lynch. A mesmerizing bass synth paired with pan-effected vocals that will change your perspective on electronic music.
This month we went a little too far from the sun. So don’t expect some warm happy tunes that celebrate how much summer is cool, well apart from a couple of exceptions, still that’s a tour around the universe. Anyway, the main theme of this Outer Space is definitely darker than you might expect from a best of the month article in the middle of June. And we are seriously okay with that, summer doesn’t exist in space, get your head around it.
However, we promise you that these month’s tunes will make your ass move, that’s for sure, there are some very energetic and uplifting tunes on this post.
Be ready, today’s trip is pretty savage and full of hurdles, and that’s how we like it.
Let’s begin our Outer Space journey.
iHateJON – “See No Evil”
Let’s welcome again a phenomenal artist that has landed here on Spacesour for the second time: iHateJON!
No need for introductions, this guy has already proven himself with his previous releases, and he’s finally back with a brand new one that left us speechless: we’re talking about “See No Evil” released just a month ago. This tune has an extremely chill vibe that will flip your mind with its melancholic beat, the incredible timbre of iHateJon, and the stunning flow of his vocal performance. Despite his young age, iHateJON is fully capable of sharing meaningful concepts and personal experiences about toxic relationships, giving the listener the chance to be entertained by the incredible musical arrangement, and get blown away by the clever lyricism and the way it gets transmitted: Definitely the right tune for good listeners and even more appreciated for people who shared similar experiences.
Another masterpiece from this artist, thanks for sharing your music with us!
Excited to introduce another incredible artist from Vienna, Austria, with over 20 years of experience as an artist, musician, and producer: we give a warm welcome in this Vol.5 to the amazing MUDDASHEEP!
His latest album called “Still Leben” is a masterpiece made in collaboration with other artists, making sure that the 14 tracks contained will bring you on a surreal journey. Since there are numerous artists that worked together with Muddasheep to give life to this stunning album, we can say that these songs would never get you bored, keeping your attention until the very last track.
“Take It To The Grave” and “Ascender” are the only 2 tracks without collaborations, even though the album follows a specific style line, we feel that these ones are definitely the heart of the album. Ascender caught most of our attention for its crazy sound design made of distorted lo-fi and punchy drums, melancholic and dreamy pads mixed with rhythmic ethereal plucks, all of this with a solid structure and upbeat rhythms that will definitely get stuck in your mind. The entire album is worth a listen from beginning to end, such an incredible masterpiece.
Let’s introduce a very versatile artist from Chicago, US, an independent producer that is able to merge different genres to create a unique sound that will bring you into outer space. We talking about CEYEO, a very fresh artist with just a total of 4 tracks released in the first part of 2022, and we can assure you that you’ll experience a stunning journey listening to his singles.
Ceyeo is used to combining rock with hip-pop and R&b, creating such masterpieces as “Broken” (if you haven’t heard before we suggest you listen to it now!); not the case for one of his latest tracks called “Trying”, a more intimate electronic/pop production r&b vocals infused that’ll give you chill vibes and dreamy moods.
The track features the stunning voice of Poetic Justis, definitely, the perfect voice for this kind of beat, and a carefully selected choice of sounds make this tune the perfect song to listen to when you need to put yourself into relaxation mode. A must-listen!
You might recognize Maijah from some of our past reviews and we are very happy that she put out this new amazing EP called “Star-Fairy”. It collects some of her past singles like “Sparkly” ” My Time” and “Autumn Vibes” together with three brand new tunes.
This release is extremely solid, showcasing Maijah‘s singing talent and versatility. From the first tune of the EP Maijah shows us that she knows how to flex in a “sparkly” and colorful way, always keeping her peculiar RnB style on tunes that vary from trap to electronic with some rock-inspiration on some parts, like on Autumn Vibes.
The sound design of the EP sometimes reminded us of Billie Eilish’s last album, both have a variety of sounds and genres and are incredibly well-curated producton. “Tightrope” is an amazing ballad that fits perfectly in the middle of the EP. In the same fashion My Time and Magnetize both sound great as the last tunes, both with an energizing and cathartic ending that made us love this release even more.
ANDREW NARVAEZ – “BETTER WITH MY FRIENDS” (feat. Crooked Hill & Charles Infamous)
Andrew Narvarez, singer-songwriter from New Jersey, with his positive guitar vibes just came back with his second single in 2022 called “Better With My Friends”. Andrew’s Narvarez style is very versatile jumping from RnB-style vocals to old-school rap.
The chorus is extremely catchy and perfectly conveys the sense of friendship and passing the time with the right people. Andrew’s vocals sometimes reminded us of Post Malone, anyway his style is very recognizible and this song he perfectly showcases his talent and singing skills.
Crooked Hills and Charles Infamous, which are featured in the song during the second and third verse, add some very solid variations to tune in a really consistent way. This track sounds amazing now during the beginning of June, especially if you’re listening with your friends.
Terrarri is a rapper from Jacksonville who just released his last tune “P U L L U P”. He seems to be pretty active this year, since that’s already his fifth release in 2022. Terrarri demonstrated to us that you don’t need to swear or diminish women to do a compelling trap song.
You can leave the guns at home and still feel extremely cool pumping up this song from your car. It might not be a Maserati, but you’d still look pretty damn rad if you turn up the volume during this song, even on a pieceashit car.
Terrarri‘s flow is flawless, the song goes smooth and the autotuned vocals perfectly fit with the instrumentals. The beat is extremely chill and energizing at the same time and Carnell’s feature on the second verse adds the right icing on the cake. Extremely solid trap tune.
Based in Phoenix, Forts is an alt-pop trio who just released the dark and reggae-inspired tune The Chemist. The first band that came to our mind while listening to this Alt-Pop Dark-Pop tune was “Crosses”, Chino Moreno’s side-project, and since they not really putting out that many records, it is extremely satisfying to listen to bands with a similar obscure sound.
Also the theme behind the song is pretty dark, yet cathartic in some way, as we see Mars, Forts’ singer, imaging herself as The Chemist and dealing with her chemical monster, the cause of all the depressive and stressful thoughts inside one’s mind.
The production and sound design are extremely well-curated sometimes reminiscing some of the latest productions from the band PVRIS.
Forts is a breath of fresh air in the music scene, and we are very excited to see where this band is going to head, wishing them all the best.
Let’s be honest, people always focus on the American rap scene, not really mentioning other places in the world. But let’s admit it, Canada does it great as well, and Jay Meadows, the Toronto-based rapper, definitely set the quality bar higher in the rap underground scene.
C’mon, there’s no just Drake in Canada, open up your ears and listen to Jay Meadows‘ last tune called “Steve Rogers”. The bass and subs hit hard on this one, and Jay Meadow’s flow is savage. His vocal style also reminded us of Mac Miller at times, but with a new and fresh twist.
Jay has proved to be very aware of his vocal range, singing a very catchy chorus, with a melody that even tho is more sung than rapped, keeps the tune dark and uplifting at the same time. You should take a look at this incredible new talent, he just started 5 years ago in the music industry but we know that he got a bright future in front of him.
RILAY is a new upcoming artist from Seoul, Korea, who just landed in the music industry with his first release showing us what he’s capable of. We know very little about this guy, and we crave to learn more about him and his releases.
“Testimony” is the debut single that surprised us all with its incredible style: a modern pop-rap track that blends a bit of old school, jazzy melodies, and funky grooves, with a sophisticated electronic sound design that makes this tune an impressive masterpiece and for sure a real pleasure for our ears.
The song features vintage keys, trumpets, and a clean set of drums and percussion that accompany the track in a very smooth way; sitting on top of all of this we have Rilay’s vocals that are definitely the icing on the cake.
Excited to see what this guy will come up with in the next months, can’t wait to hear more!
Space Traveller, we are on a mission, now more than ever. This second volume of our fairly new format called “Outer Space”, has definitely more talented artist that we expected to cover. Fest your seatbelt and get ready, you’re gonna see and listen to some bangers and sounds you never listened before, maybe never imagined before.
That’s right, we explored every territory this time, from Trap to Electronic, from Indie rock to Dream Pop. We’ve been into realms we’ve never seen before and came to you with our loot, full of incredible music projects that will make your day special.
Let’s begin our Outer Space journey.
Faster On Fire – “The Basics”
FASTER ON FIRE Is a phenomenal duo from North Carolina: this is the pop-punk band we needed right now. Jon and Alex are both multi-instrumentalists and they are in the music scene with this project since 2019. Their latest release “TheBasics” was released just a couple of weeks ago, and it gave us that 90s goosebumps we missed for a while, reminding us a bit of the legendary Jimmy Eat World and Blink182.
The song is very well produced: great drum fills and remarkable guitar riffs make the track very solid and extremely pleasant to listen to, thanks to the arrangement that has been structured in every little detail. Vocals are also remarkable thanks to Alex’s singing performance that gives a unique character to the song.
LAURENTIS is what we usually call a Musical-Genius. This is an incredible artist with some real skills: singer, rapper, producer, writer, musician, he can do literally anything.
Since he comes from different music scenes, we can hear such influences in many of his tracks, especially for his latest release “Signora”.
This tune is basically his interpretation of serenade, a very unique style that honestly we never heard before. The song feature Flamengo guitars, reggaeton style drums, electronic synths, acoustic piano, and the astonishing vocals of Laurentis, with an impeccable timbre that makes the tune incredibly warm, decisive, and consistent. A must listen, one of a kind.
“Down To Earth” is the latest release of COURTNEY COLE, an amazing singer and songwriter from Los Angeles, with massive experience in the pop music industry and millions of streams on Spotify.
The song was released a couple of days ago and we fell in love with it. A vibrant, heartwarming production with an extremely solid structure and attention to little details.
Cole’s voice is phenomenal, a unique talent that literally gave us goosebumps while listening to Down To Heart, an angelic voice that can get decisive, strong, and impactful in every moment.
This is what we call a heal-song,we suggest you get ready to have an emotional explosion while listening to this track.
EMILY PARISH is a singer and songwriter from London, UK, that has just released a brand new EPincredibly pleasant to listen to.
The angelic voice of Emily is enchanting, warm, and remarkable, where deep and meaningful lyrics are never taken for granted.
The EP has an alternative pop style with chill/moody beats, made of acoustic instruments and wide ambient pads. This is a journey into your inner self, where you’ll be able to disconnect from what you have around and dive into your deepest thoughts.
After listening all day long to one of THEHIGHWAYSTORY’s releases, we are finally ready to introduce it here on SpaceSour. We talking about “Anna Mae”, one of the latest releases of this crazy artist, rapper, and songwriter from Rockland, US.
The song brings us to the clouds from the very first seconds, with a dreamy and melodic intro, and a sick sound design: we already love the beat.
When the 808 kicks in with Thehighwaystory vocal lines, we are suddenly caught by the remarkable chorus. We actually can’t stop singing it in our head: “Anna Mae Anna Mae, I just wanna conversate, Conversations on ya phone, Say you wanna be alone”! FIRE TUNE!!
SAHARA BECK is back with another release, the first of this 2022, and once again left us speechless.
“Stillness” is the name of this track, in an indie-pop/90s rock style with a hint of western vibes thanks to the artistic arrangement of the guitars.
Sahara is an incredible talent, her voice is extremely characteristic, and the way she sings gives this tune a kind of gloomy, mysterious, and melancholic vibe, but also a sense of freedom and accomplishment when she reaches the higher notes.
This is a very minimal tune and definitely something different from anything else, which cannot go unnoticed.
This one is an amazing band based in Prague, with over 10 years of experience. Let’s give a warm welcome to NOVEMBER 2ND with their latest releases called “Island”: an alternative/indie rock production with a touch of soul and blues vibes.
After many years of playing together, comes to no surprise that these guys released another extremely solid track, with a captivating and compelling sound, we can feel the strong skills this band has.
The lead vocal performance has no rivals here, the way she sings fits perfectly the style of the track, with a strong and impeccable timbre, Island is pure art at its finest stage. Glad these guys released a new song after a while.. We want more!!
RYDERS BLU is the ambitious project of these 2 amazing lads, PJ O’Neill (Vocalist, Guitarist) and Jake Carrick (Drummer), who have known each other and played together for over 10 years. Their skills combined, give life to an incredible style that they crafted during their life, going from synth-pop/electronic pop to R&B, from indie rock to alt hip-hop, this duo is extremely far from being boring.
Their latest release “As Long As I Got You Babe”, is definitely the kind of tune that puts you in a good mood from the very first few seconds. The fast-paced drums lead the rhythm together with the guitars, pads that add some excitement, and the remarkable vocals of O’Neill: all of this makes this tune the perfect fit for your morning routine.
Get ready to dive into a real emotional journey with “A World Away”, the first 2022 release of EMMA ELIZABETH. First release, but not the latest, we picked this one because we fell in love with the incredible mood this song is capable to put you in.
This is a very special release, a live acoustic record with just guitar and voice. Emma’s voice is simply astonishing, and her skills stand out amazingly well in this performance, from the heartwarming lyric to the melodies of the lines.
What can we say, you just need to sit down and close your eyes while listening to this song, and you won’t have to do anything else other than listening and start going places with your mind.
Who’s GASANOVA?? This phenomenal producer, singer, and songwriter from Chicago, US, has just made us go crazy with his insane style after releasing only 2 tracks.
“Harley” is his latest release, an incredibly original tune with a fast-paced beat that brings back some elements from the 80s and 90s.
The song starts with a guitar line extremely remarkable, with a kind of “western vibes”.
The drums and the vocal lines are produced with sick attention to detail, they merge perfectly with the guitars and all together lead a rhythm that won’t let your head stop moving.
The rap part was a plot twist: this is a masterpiece from an artist with incredible skills, we can’t wait to hear more from Gasanova!
When comes to strong skills and unique style, becomes extremely difficult to not mention PKAY. She’s an incredible singer and songwriter based in Los Angeles, USA, just 21 years old.
Pkay has already released one album that she wrote entirely alone in a car, and the last track of the album called “Pls Call me” just captured our heart.
This is an acoustic tune emotionally driven, that gives all it has just with a piano and a voice.
Pkay vocals are stunning here, from the melody to the rhythm of the lines, from the lyrics to the intensity of tone, she was able to create a masterpiece just with the help of a piano and a few strings. Amazing tune, amazing artist, a must-listen.
After being included in our Best Of The Moon of January, HOLLY JADE is back on SpaceSour for this OuterSpace Selection with her latest release “Blame California”.
We all know her guitar skills and her amazing voice, and this tune represents completely her style and origins. The unique characteristic of her song is for sure the very remarkable guitar tune that plays throughout the song, along with vocal lines, which are confident and provocative: they are just perfect together.
The track keeps its rhythm thanks to the very minimal drums, which becomes incredibly elaborate when percussions join during the second part of the song. That’s a HIT!
Sharing some love for this incredible lad: ORCA, a vision-impaired artist, and songwriter from Jerusalem, Israel. This guyhas the ability to create banger tunes, emotionally driven and also very well produced. We had the chance to listen to most of his releases, and we loved them all.
His latest release is called “Situation” and it has a very unique style: we can slightly feel an arabic style, mixed with some fresh modern hip-hop. The vocal lines sit perfectly on the beat, with a neat 808 we can’t stop to pump it in our speakers!
Orca’s music will bring you on an amazing journey, and trust us when we say that the more you listen, the more you get addicted.. Perfect!
See Plus just released a new tune called “The Sun”, a mellow-pop/indie-pop track, that’s extremely catchy and will get stuck in your head extremely easily.
As some of the best songs out there, also The Sun was inspired by a relationship break-up. When the singer had to cope with his feelings it came out with these uplifting tunes, which helped him go over his situation and understand more of himself.
Certainly, this tune will find many people to empathize with his situation and probably feel more comfortable knowing that we’re all in the same boat (like the one in the single cover).
The guitars are extremely well produced and the rhythm of the song will work great on a live performance.
You probably won’t expect that singer-songwriter Luna Keller, is not English but rather Spanish/German, since her singing is technically perfect and her pronunciation completely flawless.
Her new tune “Wanderer” made us dive into her personal life, with a really intimate story, that will help you cope with your homesickness.
The song has a very catchy acoustic guitar arpeggio that sustains the whole tune, and Luna Keller‘s soothing vocal style will easily make you feel uplifted after listening to her story.
The track was written during the last day she spent in her childhood home, and you can perceive her emotions and feelings through the recording. “Wanderer” is the last song featured on her upcoming album “Prophecies and Silver Linings”, which will be out April 14th, and we really look forward to listening to it.
Lost Like Lions is an alternative rock band based in Buffalo, New York, that formed around 7 years ago and still releases great tunes as their last single called Back To Life.
The production behind the single is very solid, reminiscing other more emo-influenced tunes that came out in the mid-2000. The track definitely brings some nostalgia with it, and it’s perceivable from the melody and guitar sound. Sometimes the guitars stand more into the new wave of Shoegaze, similar to Turnover album Peripheral Vision, while the arrangement reminded us of early Brand New releases.
If you’re alternative rock aficionados that miss the old scene, this track is for you and we suggest you listen also to the rest of Lost Like Lions back-catalog.
If you want to chill this afternoon, we got you covered. “Cold World” from the producer V-Train, is the perfect tune to chill with. This is a lo-fi beat like no others since it continuously introduces a new element, that will keep your ear awake and chilled at the same time.
The DJ scratches reminisce of old-school-type beats and the addition of the piano makes the tune feel more like a lounge tune, which helps you set you in the right ming set.
The final touch of sax is definitely the last dab on the layers of sound that we definitely needed. A great and peculiar sound design, that will calm your spirit.
Apollo Rising is a duo band based in Canada, Ottawa. The formation might reminisce the one of Twenty One Pilots, but they definitely bring something more to the table than the rest of the duo electro-pop bands you can usually do with their eclectic arrangement.
The band perfectly merges different genres, from Pop to Synthwave together with some typical RnB productions.
The real drum sound sounds perfectly with the piano and synth arrangements, bringing a solid sound that never feels obvious.
We definitely loved the theme of the tune, the band self-reflecting on their own situation as musicians, bringing life-questions to emerge, where everybody can doubt of their own situation, not knowing where to head.
SICK!! Just Sick, that’s what we thought while listening to Tony Loud Woods the last release called “What The Hell Is This”.
Solid trap beats, and razor blade lines that Tony delivers with all his energy. I can imagine the mic in flames while recording all these dope tunes, twenty to be exact, that is part of “What The Hell Is This”.
The album, never sounds the same, Tony knows how to fit his vocal style with the beat. Also, the instrumentation, prevalently dark through all the records, has many layers of sound that grab inspiration from electronica and more pop songs.
If we have to decide just to songs out of the album to represent it, we will say, listen to “Swerving” and “Barista”, then listen to the whole album anyway. You won’t be disappointed.
“Constant Reminder” is the new tune from N4November. That’s an alternative rock tune that feels anthemic and will sound amazing live during a show performance. The project was founded by songwriter Alex, based in Sydney, Australia.
The genre reminisces of early 2000 bands, and late Good Charlotte production, Alex throws his emotions in the lyrics and vocal performance, in a rollercoaster of feelings.
That’s an uplifting tune, that we found a lot in line with the themes of pop-punk bands, like Simple Plan and Alkaline Trio.
Songs For Sabotage just released a new dark pop track called “Rumors”. This tune was initially conceived in 2020, and after two years after its conception, we are incredibly happy that this came out.
The tune, takes the typical trap elements, like 808 bass and thin hit hats, that accompany most of the song, but what makes the song stand out are definitely the honest and raw vocals, that throw a lot of emotion to the listener making it part of the whole experience.
The almost ethereal guitars in the background, give the tune a hint of melancholy. which we definitely crave in dark tunes like this. That’s the last single from them before their album comes out, and we hope we are not gonna wait too much before new singles are released.
Love Dreams, is the last release from the trapper Dreamer$ Paradice, and conveys all his emotions and feeling with an honest pen. The singer sincerely throws all his love and dreams in the lyrics, and the vocal style transmits his sense of hopefulness.
The beat starts with an almost ethereal piano pattern which set the base of the whole tune, the 808 bass is not prevalent in this track, leaving more room for the vocals.
The vocal production definitely leave a lot of room to the dynamic and singer’s expressions with and clean and crisp sound design.
The Concept EP “Boog” from producer XIXI (pronounced Eleven Eleven) really surprised us. It is 22 minutes long and it was released on 2/22/22, it also came out the same day as an NFT on Opensea, and we personally really love when musicians embrace this new concept of distribution.
XIXI created an EP infused with many different genres, starting with a dark and fast trap tune called “Drive”, which rightly set the mood of the EP, audacious and honest. “222” instead is a more settle down tune, with different female vocalization, and touches of RnB.
This release is mainly an instrumental collection of tracks, which sustain themselves amazingly without the need for any lead vocal melody. The EP has other more RnB-based tunes like HrtBrkr and PG Country which never lose their edge with dark 808s in the background in some of their parts, or catchiness with subtle piano patterns. Another tune we loved is 8049 Hamlin St. which has a more old-school approach, great for gangsta rap aficionados.
iHATEJON, aka Jonathan Borneman just released iGOTME,an honest trap-influenced tune about self-love. Jonathan wrote and recorded the tune in his bedroom, writing all about his emotions after his breakup.
Don’t be fooled by the pink color of the single cover. The tune is extremely deep and reflects on co-dependency and love.
Sometimes being too attached to someone you think you’re in love, doesn’t really connect with what love really is. Loving everybody unconditionally and feeling connected with the rest of humans, is the starting point of finding a truer meaning, and as Jonathan discovered, it all starts with loving yourself first.
The Vonics, is a band based in the UK, that just released a new tune called Goodbye. This single is probably the most cheerful tune you’ll find on this list today.
This track brings happiness, and it is infectious. The trumpets add an essential layer to the tune, that adds the right amount of groove and cheerfulness you can expect from a radio banger.
The vocals, are extremely well performed, almost screamed and punk at times, but keeping the positive vibes and right energy to the tune. If you’re feeling down, that’s the right tune to listen to today.
Chris K is a talented songwriter based in Chicago, United States, that just brought to us this dope tune called “Up My Dose”.
The tune starts with some chill synths layered together and that sustained the whole beat and leave space for Chris K bars and vocal performance.
The bass has a more syncopated approach than most trap tunes, giving and RnB vibe to the tune. Chris K’s vocal style fits perfectly in the track and never feels mundane, always keeping the audience entertained. We bounce our heads from start to finish, and while the track only last 2 minutes, it definitely gives us an excuse to play it again immediately.
Chase Bennett merged perfectly pop-punk with trap elements in his new tune “Toxic”. While being a punk rock song at its core, Toxic takes different sounds from the trap world. From the hit hat in the first part of the tune and the vocal style, which partly reminisces Juice WRLD and later Machine Gun Kelly’s songs.
While being completely open in his lyrics about doubt and frustration, the mood of Chase Bennett‘s new single is very energetic and fun. Toxic is a track that we would love to listen to at a live show, something like the now-dead Warped Tour (hoping it comes back, maybe it will), or a punk show in general and start a moshpit right in the middle of the chorus. Chase Bennett definitely hyped us and we cannot wait to see what he is up to for the rest of 2022.
