These ones have some blues-rock vibes that we loved, as you don’t really find them in modern pop-rock productions. TOBIAS ARBO – “Yellow Woods”
As we always say, we leave you with a last release that sounds like the one at the first place, importance-wise. Indeed this release is incredible and we had to add this to our weekly selection. Seriously, Tobias Arbo delivered an incredible Folk album called Yellow Woods. We have been blown away by his vocal performance. Not only his voice is beautiful and soothing, but his falsetto is out of this world, and very addictive. Not only this, but the instrumentation is outstanding and works perfectly around his peculiar vocal style. Every instrument, from piano, to drums and guitars, they all sound marvelous. We perceived some Sigur Ros inspiration, merged with the intimacy of Damien Rice. The result is an incredible folk album that you should add to your collection.
