If you know us enough, then you know how much we love synthwave and everything that is 80s related. So it will come as no surprise why we love and decided to share this track. Here we have Moorgoolean with the new single called City at Night. We found this track extremely catchy and incredibly well produced. One of the things we loved the most about this tune is the trumpet melodies, very uplifting moments that sent us back to the 80s. The vocals are incredibly catchy and flawless. This synthpop song also has a rap part in the special, which you are definitely going to dig. So, don’t waste any time and go listen to this amazing tune.
ANDREA PIZZO AND THE PURPLE MICE – “The Machine”
We are now flying to Genova, city situated in one of our favorite countries in the world. Not only they have some of the best food and weather in the world, but also some of the most interesting music out there. of course we are talking about Italy, where this electronic music project is based. Andrea Pizzo and the Purple Mice really surprised with the track The Machine. The drum parts and rhythm are incredibly well produced, and also the other layers of the sound design are very well chosen. Very mesmerizing and mysterious synths, organ-like sounding at times, will wrap your ears in an outstanding musical vibe, where some strong vocals stand on top. If you are searching for some outstanding dark and electro-pop track, that’s gonna be your next jam.
CLARE EASDOWN – “STIGMA ENIGMA”
We are extremely happy that artists are still talking and sharing their experiences with mental health. This artist really got us with the last track released. Here we have Clase Easdown and the single we are going to showcase today is called Stigma Enigma. As the artist states “STIGMA ENIGMA” was created to provide a safe space for those who are filled with the painful effects of mental health stigma to come together and finally find relief. The song has a great vocal performance on top of minimal instrumentation which we loved. The reverb on the drums and the sound design make the some very melancholic, one of the feelings we love the most from music tunes.
THE SCREAMING POPE – “The Value Of Priceless”
We are now going to fly to the United States to meet with an incredible artist and producer who goes under the name of The Screaming Pope. First of all, how dope is this name? Second of all, this project just released an incredible album called The Value Of Priceless. In an industry where album are not appreciated as they should, this release stands out in most of the genres. This album navigates into different genres, from electronic to would and even some World Music moments. The vocals are incredible and the synths used are always spot on. Incredibly danceable and catchy, this album should be on your playlists and bandcamp.
LAURENCE WARNER – “Sing a Song Write a Rap (uhh)”
As you know, we always have some special stuff in the end of our article. And today it is no exception. Here we have Laurence Warner. An incredible artist from the UK who just released the album Sing a Song Write a Rap (uhh). That’s an eclectic release made of 12 tracks, which have some of the best lyrics we’ve heard in years. Extremely modern, and very thought-provoking. This artist goes where none of the other artists in the game are going, probably because they are too afraid of experimenting. This hip-hop-inspired album, is something very precious, with some trap and brit pop moments, it stands out in the picture of our modern world in an audacious way.
