Emerging from a five-year creative journey, MANNERS, in collaboration with her longtime friend and producer GIGSY, unveiled the album “MALFUNCTIONING MACHINE” on October 26, 2023. The launch, celebrated with a sold-out event in Oxford, marked a significant milestone in MANNERS’ musical career.
The original EP garnered attention with tracks like “GODDAMN MONSTER” and “101,” which resonated with listeners through their exploration of personal themes such as love and mental health. Drawing inspiration from artists like Billie Eilish, UPSAHL, and MOTHICA, MANNERS crafted a distinctive “dark/alt-pop” sound that captivated her audience.

The first reboot features Surrey-based singer-songwriter Izzii Grace on “101,” whose vocals add a new dimension to the track. The subsequent release, “POWER,” showcases GIGSY’s creative input, revitalizing the song with renewed energy.
Anticipation builds as three more tracks are slated for release, featuring artists Dais from Southampton, rapper Mac Backwardz from Coventry, and another notable contribution from GIGSY. These monthly releases, concluding in February 2024, promise to offer fans a continuous stream of innovative sounds throughout the winter months.
