Already racking up over half a million streams, this one’s a perfect mix of heart and groove, and we’re pretty sure you’ll love it. The song tells the story of Harry saying goodbye to his home in the Netherlands and stepping into the unknown in Mexico. With shades of Bowie and Radiohead, his sound hits in all the right places, familiar yet totally fresh. The lyrics are deep, but the rhythm keeps things light, creating that sweet balance between reflection and fun: a meaningful and catchy track that you guys can’t really miss out on!
RICHARD GREEN – “Big Number”
Richard Green is back with his latest release “Big Number”, and it’s just as dynamic and inventive as we were hoping for. Having been featured on our platform multiple times, we were excited to see what he had in store, and he didn’t disappoint! This single showcases Richard’s signature fusion of dubstep, techno, and electro, creating a sound that’s very energizing and deeply atmospheric.
Drawing inspiration from heavyweights like Skrillex and Boyz Noize, Richard has crafted a track that feels fresh and experimental, yet grounded in solid production. The track meets the overwhelming influence of “numbers” in today’s society, particularly in the way social media metrics have taken over, subtly reminding us of the importance of quality over quantity.
HEAVY JUNE – “Wonder Wheel”
It’s time to show you the latest album of Heavy June called “Wonder Wheel”, which brings the perfect blend of nostalgia and fresh summer vibes, capturing the essence of changing seasons musically and emotionally. Just play the opening track, “Good For It”: once it hits, you’ll find yourself immersed in his world, and before you know it, you’re hooked, playing the entire album on repeat.
Recorded in his Brooklyn apartment, Wonder Wheel beautifully balances warmth and introspection, giving off a vibe that’s as bittersweet as the transition from summer to fall. It’s a deeply personal journey through love, change, and the simple, beautiful moments that shape life.
FIONA AMAKA – “Justified (Cosmic)”
Fiona Amaka is a phenomenal singer that brings us her latest single called “Justified (Cosmic)”, a soulful journey through the highs and lows of past love. The London-based singer-songwriter blends her signature “rock’n’soul” sound with ambient vibes, creating mellow vibes that are difficult to resist! Her gravelly, raw vocals will pull you into a reflective space as she sings about regret and longing. This song also features soft guitar strums and atmospheric sounds, which give the song a cosmic feel, with Fiona’s voice floating flawlessly over the relaxing, dreamy production.
This wonderful song tackles the complexity of wanting to turn back time in a relationship while acknowledging the mistakes that make it hard to go back. Fiona’s latest release is a beautiful blend of vulnerability and introspection, making it a standout addition to her evolving catalog.
THE OPEN FLAMES – “Drop a Coin”
We are ready to show you the freshest band of the year, with their first single called “Drop a Coin”: we are talking about The Open Flames, based in London and ready to bring us their incredible sound! Their track brings a dark pop groove that hooks you in with its catchy vibes, building from haunting basslines and steady drums into a full-on cinematic experience. Lead singer Dave Eastman’s raspy vocals tell a twisted tale, while Paige Brubeck’s backup melodies add a cool, almost hypnotic touch. It’s like watching a thriller unravel in just under four minutes!
Inspired by heavy metaphors, imagine standing at the gates of hell, unsure whether to step through: the song’s energy shifts midway, propelling you into a fiery, chaotic soundscape. The mix of brooding instrumentals and gothic storytelling makes this tune a standout on the London alt-rock scene!
DYNASTY FOUR – “Revisions”
We are very near the winter, anyway, we still have some songs that will lighten up your day. This fizzy track with the garage rock aftertaste will do the work. Here we have Dynasty Four, directly from Canada, more specifically Toronto, which just released a very cool release called Revisiones. Instantly you will notice some The Strokes vibes, but the band has a unique take on the Indie Rock genre, noticeable especially from the vocals, at times post-punk inspired.
We do think Sonic Youth played a major role for the band’s inspiration, and we loved the guitar tone and lofi vibes. If you’re into the genre you will fall in love with the band as well.
HARBINGER – “Runner Spheres”
We will say this straight away, this EP is completely self-produced. For us this news is incredible. If you are a producer you know how hard it is to do electronic music. Anyway, Harbinger was able to create an incredibly immersive experience with his latest EP called Runner Spheres. The tracks evolve very smoothly, and without even noticing you are immersed in a cosmic world, fuller of incredible sounds. We loved the pads used, and the basslines are incredible. France was always full of incredible electronic artists, and this is the proof. Harbinger will be your next fixation, believe us, his electronic, progressive house inspired tracks are next level.
MICK J. CLARK – “Hey Mu-Cha-Cha.”
As you know space travelers, we do journeys on space, but also on time. Indeed, here we have a track from 2012, that doesn’t sound so old at all. In fact, this track sounds like it came straight from summer 2024. Full of love and passion, here we have Mick J. Clark. The track is called Hey Mu-Cha-Cha, and the track helped us to get out minds in a busy Miami Beach, full of people dancing. Imagin yourself sipping a Pina Colada with this track in the background. Perfect soundtrack to fall in love, the guitar licks and drum section are spot-on, so you will find a bit of Santana on this track as well. Listen to this track and dance like nobody is watching, that’s your moment.
GRACE MCLEAN – “My Lovely Enemy”
Grace Mclean not only released an amazing single called My Lovely Enemy, but the album by the same name is something incredible. Believe us when we say that making an album in 2024 is extremely difficult, but she was able to craft an album that’s mindblowing. Not only this, but the main single, My Lovely Enemy indeed, has a very beautiful music video which you can watch here. The tracks are flamboyant, very extravagant, and extremely funny. The first thing you will notice is how Grace vocals are impressive. Also, the ever-changing instrumentals are incredibly clever and follow her vocals in a flawless way. We felt we took a journey while listening to this, an Alice in Wonderland type of journey to be more precise. Enjoy it yourself to understand how trippy this release could be.
NOVA PERRY – “We Will Heal”
It is now time to get very emotional. Not only this, we felt extremely uplifted while listening to this track. It starts like a piano-driven track, but there’s a lot more to it. The vocals are powerful and will move your soul. We are talking about Nove Perry, and the song we are covering here is called We Will Heal. The name of the tune is already very powerful, and believe us, the more the song goes on the more it will hit you to the core. We felt different after this track, this has some electronic inspirations that enter during the middle of the track with some incredible synths. The sound design is incredible, and this will be your favourite tune while jogging, trust us.
NATALIE JEAN – “My Body”
Now it is time for an incredible artist that goes under the name of Natalie Jean. Her vocals are powerful, gritty, energetic, they roar. Believe us, the energy this track conveys is real, we felt like we could climb a mountain. The track is called My Body, and especially if you are a woman, this tune is for you. We leave in a man world we’re afraid to admit, but we are lucky to have women like Natalie that fight every day for their rights. This anthemic pop rock track hits hard, we have to admit, and we already can imagine this played in an arena full of people singing the chorus together with Natalie. Don’t give up your dreams and fight every day for them.
SHARON LIA BAND – “EXPANSE”
As you know, we always conclude our Hyperspace article with something that is out of this world. Every song is chosen carefully and this release is no exception. Here we have Sharon Lia Band and the release we are presenting you today is called Expanse. This release from the first second sounds like a soundtrack. We should add, and incredibly uplifting soundtrack. The drums hit hard and the guitars are extremely powerful. However, what glues everything together is the vocals. It is very hard for us to express how the vocals inspired us. They are very lyrical, with some epic vibes to them, but at the same time, they accompany the listener on this journey. They made us feel safe and understood, and we are sure these tracks will make you feel special as well.
