Space Discovery: K-SYRAN – “Turning My Head”

Stonebridge and K-Syran have recently dropped an exciting synth-pop single, “I Can’t Feel”, that’s got us hooked from the get-go. You know we are suckers for this genre, and it is incredible to see a collaboration like this bringing an amazing record together. The track brings some nice nostalgic vibes but with a modern production. The track kicks off with a nice piano that leads the way immediately to the chorus (insanely catchy in our opinion) reminiscent of classic ’80s electro-pop. K-Syran’s style sounds very vintage yet incredibly fresh, we felt immersed in a dance movie, with this as a soundtrack, with K-Syran vocals orchestrating the dance moves of the main protagonist.
Stonebridge’s production is flawless, his use of space and texture creates an immersive atmosphere, allowing each element to shine in the mix. The synths are a perfect blend of retro-inspired timbres and modern processing techniques that add depth without overpowering the rest of the mix.
What we really loved about this release is all the remixes included in it. One of our favourites is definitely the Ibiza Mix, which makes even more evident the passion and charm of K-Syran vocals. The House Mix instead reminded us of some early David Guetta productions, even on this one they were able to keep the nostalgic vibes, which in this case hit differently. The fact that all the remixes have been curated by StoneBridge shows how this producer is incredibly talented. If you wanna dive into the song even more we really suggest listening to the Extended Mix and the Ibiza Sub if you feel you don’t want this summer to end.
Since the artist kindly asked for it and we could say no, since also this track is amazing, we added a little bonus with K-Syran latest single called Turning My Head. Here the production has a different style more focused on the clarity of the vocals which blends perfectly with the bassline and rhythmic guitar.
