HYPERSPACE: Best Discoveries of the Week – Episode Ninety
Get ready for the Hyperspace Jump.
The countdown is starting. This is our ninetieth episode, which means that after 10 episodes we will arrive at out hundredth. To be honest with you, we didn’t thnk this would be our most successful format, but apparently, you like Hyperspace jumps and music that is completely our of this word, so we will continue doing so. Today is no exception, we have some incredible artists as always, which are making our summer very special already.

URBAN SOUL COLLIDER – “Heart Collider”
Urban Soul Collider is projecting us into another dimension with his latest tune “Heart Collider”. Inspired by a deep love for sci-fi and robotics, this track tells the story of Aria Sonnet, an AI entity banished from her home world who travels to Earth seeking an emotional connection. ARROW SANTI – “ARROGANCE”
The Long Island rapper is back on SpaceSour: Arrow Santi, once again dropping some serious heat with his latest project “ARROGANCE”. This is an ambitious project, blending raw, unfiltered lyrics with bass-heavy beats. Inspired by legends like Mac Miller, XXXTENTACION, and Drake, Arrow’s energy is off the charts! Carlos Ucedda is back with another sick tune called “SECRET RELIEF”, a poignant exploration of addiction and the dualities of everyday life. We know that he gets influences ranging from synth waves to 80s and 90s pop, and this time delivers another versatile track that you cannot miss! Here, he delves into the struggle of addiction, portraying a life split between daily pressures and the allure of consumption. It’s a heartfelt plea for understanding and support, wrapped in Carlos’s emotive vocals and evocative melodies. Carlos brings a wealth of experience to his music, and collaborations with fellow musicians that enrich his artistic journey, adding depth and diversity to his sound, especially in this track! DANIEL JEPPESEN-FIELD – “Mosby and the Others”
Brisbane-based music producer Daniel Jeppesen-Field has already caught our ears with his debut project “Mosby and the Others”! This EP features four tracks that blend lo-fi, atmospheric, and organic house music, enhanced by a creative sound design, orchestral influences, and unique field recordings. Daniel’s goal is to tell stories and create immersive worlds with his music, and we can tell you he definitely knows what he’s doing here. This EP marks the beginning of a series of conceptual albums narrating the adventures of Mosby the Wolf. His innovative approach to sound makes his style extremely captivating, creating a distinct and engaging atmosphere. We are sure that the atmospheric beats of Mosby and the Others will take you on a unique musical journey that you won’t forget!
CRONAM – “Beyond Decay Vol. 1”
We are now flying to Berlin, Germany to meet CRONAM and his latest EP “Beyond Decay Vol. 1”, which marks the beginning of an exciting series of releases. This project showcases a masterful fusion of turntablism, modular synthesis, drum machines, and exotic instruments, creating a unique blend of deep bass music. Drawing influences from legends like J Dilla, Mala, and Dj Distance, CRONAM will let us explore the depths of post-dubstep, dark beats, and bass music! This phenomenal project will let us step into the incredible world of raw electronic music, with innovative tracks like “I’ll be on it!” which melds dubstep with heavy sub-bass frequencies and turntablism. CRONAM’s dedication to pushing musical boundaries is evident throughout this EP, making it a must-listen for deep dubstep enthusiasts!
#NAME? – “Ambient2”
We are very excited to have the incredibly interesting project of #NAME?, which dives into ambient music with their latest exploration single “Ambient2”. This track stays within ambient sensibilities while flirting with unconventional structures and note progressions. This track aims for an analogue, aged feel, blending modern technology with a nostalgic touch. Drawing inspiration from ambient legends like Hiroshi Yoshimura and Brian Eno, #NAME? crafts soundscapes that are both accessible and experimental. With this tune, we’ll get transported into another dimension where mystic vibes and unique sounds will please our ears and saturate our interest in an extraordinary musical experience. Recorded and produced at home, this project reflects a genuine passion for music-making, and we are definitely looking forward to hearing more from this artist!
V OF VOSSAE – “Vibra”
We have with us a Miami-based singer-songwriter and DJ known as V of Vossae, returning from a two-year hiatus with her EP “La Montaña En El Cielo”. With this EP, she introduces us to her diverse musical prowess, blending trap, Latin roots, pop, EDM, and punk rock. “Vibra” is the track that definitely got us mingling, with its reggaeton-influenced mood it brings some crazy energy and catchy vibes! Here we got some bouncy basslines getting along a solid drum pattern, garnished with some hypnotic bells and the wonderful vocal of Vossae: the perfect mix to have a blast on a Friday night! If you fancied this song, you’ll definitely need to go for the full ride listening to the whole EP: you won’t get disappointed, trust us!
ALENA SHANNON – “Deep”
Alena Shannon brings us a spark of creativity with her single “Deep”, an upbeat pop/electronic instrumental that will surely lift your spirits! Alena, who plays the ukulele, piano, keyboard, and guitar, has been performing since she was just 4 years old. Drawing inspiration from decades of music, she aims to inspire others, especially dreamers who turn their dreams into reality. “Deep” is a fun and energetic track that sets the tone for her upcoming album, blending EDM and pop vibes: she produced this single herself, showcasing her multi-talented musical skills, with the hopes to spread positive light and energy with her music. THE SHRINES – “Spilled Ink”
Danish rock duo The Shrines are here with a new single called “Spilled Ink”, created during their global sailing adventure. Known for their cool, Scandinavian rock sound, Anne and Rasmus, the artists behind this project, spent two years in Hamburg and a year in Denmark completing their debut album “Your Damned Time”. Now, they’re making music on their 42-foot sailboat, powered by solar panels; that’s crazy! “Spilled Ink” was created in Kalamata, Greece, where The Shrines met each other sparking a creative friendship! This tune, featuring Eggshots, will let you dive into a mix of emotions with its haunting vibes and unique style, and you guys don’t really want to miss this ride!
TRADEMARK BLUD – “Tetracyclics”
We are now flying directly to the United Kingdom to meet with this extraordinary artist. We are talking about Trademark Blud which recently released an incredible album called Tetracyclics. It is pretty hard to find some solid Grime music around, but we finally found an incredible project that proudly represent the Grime UK scene. The album has some incredible instrumentation with beats that vary from drill to even R and B and some old-school skits as well. We loved how Trademark Blud was able to talk about his anxiety and depressive disorder and adapt his vocal style to all these different genres and to be outstanding in all of them. This is an absolut talent that you shouldn’t ignore. You warned you.
ABBY LONDON – “Back in the Game”
For this track, we are travelling back to the United States. We are now stopping in Seattle to meeting with this incredible fresh artist called Abby London. She recently released the single Back In The Game, and we really needed a light-hearted track, that although its calming instrumentation, actually talks about a common misconception. Not a lot people really belive this but money and fame will not bring security and happiness to your life. That’s how it is, and thankfully we have this electro-pop track that delivers the message with a catchy melody. The track is pretty pop at its core, but it has some very interesting ear candies and an uplifting social part that we loved. Some parts of the track also reminded us about the band FUN. so if you are a fan of the genre, don’t miss this out.
SAN SEBASTIAN – “Hear Me Out”
You all know we always speak highly of this country, and today we have a new reason to do so. Indeed, here we have an amazing artist that you absolutely need to listen to if you like electro pop and EDM. here we have San Sebastian which just released the single Hear Me Out. San Sebastian became known to the broader public when he participated in the national TV show, Swedish Idol 2022, where he finished in 4th place. While a lot of artists get lost after this type of TV shows, San Sebastian was not only able to stay very relevant but also able to deliver an exceptional tune that is perfect for this summer season. This song will sound great on your car radio or played by a DJ during a festival, so don’t waste time and add it to your playlist.
NISSU – “Connection”
We really found this track extremely catchy, so that’s why we are sharing this new artist with you today. We are talking about Nissu, he is a singer/songwriter from Brazil, now based in Dublin. His latest track is called Connection. We really loved the message behind the track, which is inspired by our situation during the lockdown. We are now all free, so we don’t really think about it anymore, anyway, this song reminded us how social media helped us keep connecting with each other. Not only this, Nissu is able to deliver this message with this funky pop track, which has an incredible production and also a very joyful music video which you can find here.
PERRY RIPLEY – “Love Me, My Love”
Last but not least, here we have an incredible tune that is perfect as the finale of this Hyperspace episode. You know every song from first to last deserves to be listened, and this song is no exception. Perry Ripley with his tune Love Me, My Love, wrote the perfect tune to end almost every melancholic TV series and Movie. This is a piano driven track, with some very emotional and dragging vocals. We could feel the emotion of the artist going over the mic directly to our core. That’s a cinematic song, that we can easily see playing during one of Euphoria’s new episodes (whenever they will come out). We felt uplifted by this incredibly soulful track, and we are sure you will be inspired by this as well.
