SUPER SAIYAN JAY – “GC Presents An Unplanned Christmas”
This is the perfect release for this Christmas. Extremely catchy and incredibly well produced, “GC Presents an unplanned Christmas” is the new EP from Super Sayan Jay. The release is made with two tracks that take the Christmas theme and put a twist on it. The first track Deck The Hills is a Christmas/trap-infused track, very heavy track, yet extremely catchy. The second track Wish List takes a different turn. The track is more melody-driven and RnB with some outstanding melody vocal lines on it. Extremely solid release, don’t miss this one.
TRENCH COAST – “Drinks”
For this next artist, we are flying to Berlin. We are going to meet with Tranch Coast who just released an incredible new album this December called “Drinks”. We loved the production on this album, it has 9 tracks, but any of them has a different character and aesthetic. The album has its own main theme which is mainly ambient with some experimental electronic ear candies. We loved the basslines and how they are layered with the complex drum rhythm and dreamy synths. The sound design on this album is incredible, but don’t sleep on it, go listen to it entirely.
SLDGHRAM 1ER – “Le marteau et l’enclume”
“Le marteau et l’enclume” is an incredible piece of work for us. We were really surprised by the work done by SLDGHRAM 1ER on his album. The name comes from Franch and it means literally the hammer and the anvil, and it was literally how we felt listening to this incredible album. The tracks have this fantastic dichotomy where you find ethereal elements and more techno and hardcore layers and rhythms put on top of it. We felt we were on a journey while listening to this album made of 8 tracks. It is literally a rollercoaster of electronic music, and you don’t know where is gonna land. Outstanding.
ASTRALIX – “The Rhythm Fills My Soul”
For this last one, we are going to fly back to the United States. Astralix recently released a very catchy pop track called The Rhythm Fills My Soul”. Well, calling it just pop might be a bit undermining. So we will clarify, that this track is an anthemic pop track with instrumentation that takes from EDM electro-pop and funky. The track also has some ear candies and parts where it introduces more experimental synths and effects, making this track a breeze of fresh air to our ears, while always remaining incredibly catchy.
